Gaia: Track Miles: 7.8mi Duration: 2:45 Rating: 9/10

Several weeks back, the group planned a hike in the Wickaboxet Management Area but we were overtaken by the number of mosquitos. Although the group persevered, it was a shorter hike than originally planned. What a different a few weeks make because this week, it was the perfect hiking weather with temps in the mid-70s, blue skies, and not a mosquito in site.

The group completed a 7.8mi hike covering the major loop north of Plain Meeting House Rd. There was some beautiful scenery, some slight elevation, old stone structures (root cellars, walls, etc), a couple of historic cemeteries, and more. Maybe it was the weather, maybe it was the company, or maybe it was the pristine bathroom at the trail head, but I give this a 9/10.
