Our morning hike along the Newport Cliff Walk was nothing short of spectacular—a 5-mile journey where the Atlantic Ocean crashes against rugged cliffs on one side and Gilded Age mansions rise majestically on the other. The trail’s mix of paved paths and rocky terrain kept things exciting, with every turn offering postcard-worthy views and a refreshing sea breeze.

We started early to beat the crowds and soaked in the quiet beauty of spots like Forty Steps and The Breakers, pausing often to admire the architecture and crashing waves. After the hike, we headed into town for a well-earned breakfast at The Coffee House, where cozy vibes and fresh-brewed coffee made the perfect reward. There’s no better way to start a day in Rhode Island than with a cliffside adventure followed by a warm meal in charming Newport.
